Writing novels about the adventures of Magda, Brent and their friends is my main writing activity, though I also write short stories, flash fiction, poetry and other forms of writing whenever I need a break or when the mood strikes me.

I write almost every morning, usually beginning with something fresh, or possibly editing the previous day's work. I never mix writing and editing, since they are very different kinds of activity, using different parts of the brain.

The hardest part for me is editing, which takes a lot of time and patience. I rewrite each book several times before it goes to publication.

The three mystery books, Magda's Mayne Island Mystery (blue book), Mayne Island Aliens (red book) and Mayne Island Skeletons (green book) are a series, but they do not have to be read in any particular order. Each book stands alone.
